The sneakers reimagine the AF1 ’07 in a sophisticated combination of color and texture that manages to be both luxe and low-key at the same time. An ultra-premium high-texture suede upper in a creamy natural color is accentuated by chocolate brown leather piping outlining all panels, as well as the tone-on-tone Swoosh. Golden accents on the lace dubrae and the Ducks of a Feather hangtag, along with a golden leather heel cap/counter, add an elegant touch which is complemented by a chocolate leather sockliner quilted with contrasting white stitching and Ducks of a Feather labeling. A classic white midsole paired with a chocolate outsole complete the design, for a look both subtle and stunning.

The Ducks have been a force to be reckoned with on the football field this season, so it was only fitting that they should inspire the first-ever Air Force 1 UO Premium Player Edition. Featuring elevated materials throughout the silhouette, the exclusive style features a white leather upper accented with textured green suede forming the Swooshes as well as patches on the tongue and heel, the latter of which features an embroidered Oregon “O.” A midsole rendered in Sail lends a classic “vintage” appearance, as does the shoe’s green terrycloth sockliner, while subtle piping provides reflectivity in low-light conditions. 

The Air Max 1 ’87 Premium ‘University of Oregon’ PE launched on March 26 to celebrate Air Max Day. It featured a diverse and distinctive color palette of Hemp, University Gold, Sail, Desert Dust and Cacao Wow, across Haze and Supercut Leather materials. The edition carried distinct branding elements as well, including the University’s popular unofficial motto, “Once a Duck, Always A Duck” spelled out across the backs of the shoes’ heels.
